Figure 1: Multifunctional Nanorods
The images are: (left) SEM image of a gold/nickel nanorod, (middle) MFM image the same type of nanorod, and (right) SEM image of another nanorod with magnetic nanoparticles self-assembled on the magnetic sections. The nanorods were fabricated by alternating deposition of gold and nickel through a porous template.
